Northwest Suburbs Networking Dinner for the Kenyan Community in Illinois
We face many challenges as Kenyans abroad. Many times we do not know where to turn or if we find solutions to various challenges we often don't have the opportunity to share what we have learnt. This 'late lunch' networking session will allow us to begin that process. We shall discuss a framework for ongoing forums to address the challenges that face us as a community.

The Association of Kenyan Professionals in Atlanta (AKPA) is pleased to announce the 2nd Kenya Diaspora International Conference and Investment Forum entitled "Building a Knowledge-Based Economy in Kenya: The Role of the Kenyan Diaspora" to be held in Atlanta, Georgia beginning on August 20, 2009 through August 22, 2009. The conference is a follow-up to the successful 1st Kenya Diaspora International Conference and Investment Forum entitled "The Role of the Kenyan Diaspora in Kenya's Development" which was held in March 2007 at Kennesaw State University.
